http://www.handpickedcollection.com/ and associated catalogues are operated by Handpicked Companies Limited and references to ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ shall be deemed as references to Handpicked Collection. References to ‘you’ and ‘your’ shall be deemed as references to any person placing an order via www.handpickedcollection.com and via mail order or telephone order.


When you place an order with us it will be deemed that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. If you are unhappy with any part of these terms and conditions, you should contact our Customer Service team before placing an order. You can contact us on 01206 226 440, or email at customerservices@handpickedcollection.com or by writing to the postal address given below.

We require your name, email address, credit/debit card, phone and address details. A contact phone number is needed so that we can get in touch if there is a problem with your order, we may pass this number onto our courier to help with the delivery of your order. If you have provided us with your email address we will send you a confirmation of your order. Please note this is not confirmation that your offer to buy the items has been accepted. Our contract for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and despatched to you. Please note you will be charged at the time of placing your order. Our Privacy Policy sets out the terms on which we process any personal data we collect from you.

We reserve the right to refuse an order. Non acceptance of an order may be as a result of one of the following: the product being out of stock; our inability to obtain the authorisation of payment; the identification of an error within the product information, including price and promotion; and you not meeting the eligibility to order as set out in the Terms and Conditions. The terms of your order will be made available to you on request via email to customerservice@handpickedcollection.com, we advise you to print off and retain confirmation of the order for your records.

Unfortunately we may find that an item has sold out after you have placed your order, we will notify you of this as soon as possible and either offer you an alternative or a refund, or we may be able to request more stock from the supplier.

Sometimes, we may offer a pre-order facility for an item we are awaiting delivery on, an estimated day of delivery will be provided on the website and we will notify you via email once the stock has arrived in.

Some of our items will be dispatched to you directly from our suppliers which may result in you receiving more than one package for your order.

The Handpicked Collection reserve the right to change the prices of our products at any time. Much effort is put into making sure all information is correct when going to print our catalogue but unfortunately things can change due to fluctuation of cost.

If a pricing error is identified on an advertised product before an item is shipped, the Handpicked Collection retains the right to offer the customer a full refund or the opportunity to purchase the item at the correct selling price.


We use a range of different delivery options to get your order out to you as quickly as possible. It is important to note that some dropship (such as personalised) items are sent directly from our supplier so cannot be placed on Next Day Delivery. If this is the case, it will be stated on the product page.

Standard delivery takes between 2 and 5 working days and is delivered by Royal Mail, Interlink or Parcelforce, although we may occasionally use different couriers.

Next Day delivery is a signed for service (your order must be placed by 3pm for us to guarantee next day delivery).

Please note that some addresses like the Scottish Highlands and Ireland may take a little longer and are not available for Next Day delivery and delivery is charged according to postcode (see delivery table). Deliveries to the Channel Islands may take up to ten working days. All deliveries are subject to the couriers Terms and Conditions. We also offer international delivery, this is never eligible for free standard delivery; please see details of pricing at checkout or contact our customer service team for more information.

Unfortunately, we do not deliver to PO Boxes at all.

Returns and Exchanges

We offer a full refund or exchange if you are not satisfied with your goods – no questions asked. Earrings are non-returnable for hygiene reasons and we cannot accept returns on personalised items. This does not affect your statutory rights. Please send goods with completed returns form within 30 days of receipt, in a resalable condition. If you wish to return sale items you must notify us of this within 7 working days from receipt of your package. You must return the products to us at your own cost. You are responsible for the items until they are received at the return address and thus we advise customers to request a free certificate of posting or receipt from the post office or courier and retain this until receipt is confirmed by us.

Where an email address is provided we will confirm any cancellation or refund by email, you should expect your refund within 10 working days from dispatch of your returned items.

Delivery charges from the original order will be refunded only where an entire order is returned. This does not affect your rights to claim for defective or faulty goods or workmanship under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended) or the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982.

In the unfortunate circumstance where an item has arrived faulty or damaged you should contact our Customer Service team as soon as possible.

Personalised items cannot be returned unless they are damaged in transit. Please note that some items of a personalised nature are subject to separate suppliers' individual policies. Please call our Customer Service team for more information on these.


You have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 working days of receipt of the goods (with the exception of certain items ‘which by their nature cannot be returned’). You may not return products if they have been damaged (in our reasonable opinion) as a result of fair wear and tear, deliberate damage, accidental damage (by you), negligence, abnormal working conditions, failure to follow manufacturer instructions, misuse or alteration or repair of the goods without manufacturer approval.

Please notify us as soon as possible if you want to cancel your order, we will do our best to stop the order from being sent to you but in some cases will be unable to do so. In these cases you should either reject the order at point of delivery or you will have to return the item to us at your own cost. This does not affect your statutory rights.

If you wish to cancel your order you must return the products to us at your own cost. You are responsible for the items until they are received at the return address and thus we advise customers to request a free certificate of posting or receipt from the post office or courier and retain this until receipt is confirmed by us.

Gift Vouchers and Promotions

Gift vouchers can be exchanged for merchandise online at www.handpickedcollection.com or by phone on 01206 226 440. Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged or refunded for cash. Gift vouchers can be used towards the purchase of goods at a higher price than its face value upon payment of the difference. The Handpicked Collection is under no liability for replacement or refund should vouchers be lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed whether they have been redeemed or not. Furthermore, we reserve the right to refuse any vouchers that have been modified, damaged or defaced. Gift vouchers are only valid with a unique serial number on the reverse. Discount codes and promotions cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and they cannot be used to purchase gift vouchers. We reserve the right to withdraw gift vouchers, codes and promotions at any time without prior warning.

Disclaimer & Limitations of Liability

The Handpicked Collection does not seek to exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury arising from its negligence or that of its members, agents, directors or employees or for any fraudulent misrepresentation. To the fullest extent permitted by law and save as provided above, neither the Handpicked Collection nor any associated company shall be liable to you by reason of any representation, or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the contract, or in negligence (whether on the part of the Handpicked Collection or any of its members, agents, directors, employees or otherwise) for any indirect special or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to loss of profit or loss of saving), costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever which arise out of or in connection with the use of this website, the supply of the products or their use or resale by you.

Selling Alcohol Online

It is against the law for any person under the age of 18 to buy, or attempt to buy intoxicating liquor or for any person over the age of 18 to buy or attempt to buy intoxicating liquor for any person under the age of 18. Handpicked is committed to upholding its legal and social obligations as a retailer of intoxicating liquor. By placing an order you confirm that you and the recipient of the alcohol are at least 18 years old. 

We reserve the right to validate name, address, age and other personal information supplied by you during the order process against appropriate third party databases. By accepting these terms and conditions you consent to such checks being made. Personal information that you provide may be disclosed to a credit reference or fraud prevention agency which may keep a record of that information. This is done only to confirm your identity. A credit card check is not performed and your credit rating will be unaffected. If we cannot verify your age using this method we will contact you to ask for a driving licence number (or other evidence) in order to proceed with the order.

*General Terms and Conditions for Competitions

These terms and conditions apply to all competitions (unless and to the extent that) the competition states otherwise.

The winner is responsible for ensuring they are able to accept the prize as set out and in accordance with these terms and conditions, in the event they are unable to do so then the Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize.

Entrants should be aware that they may be subject to data charges depending on their own individual arrangements for Internet access if entry is online or by email.

An eligible entrant must be an individual, must enter on their own behalf, and must submit an entry in the form requested by the Promoter under this promotion including their name, address and e-mail address.

            By entering, all eligible entrants agree to abide by each and all these terms and conditions. Misrepresentative or fraudulent entries will invalidate an entry. Where a competition involves a voting process:  offering or receiving any incentive for voting is not permitted and will invalidate the vote, and may disqualify the recipient of the vote.  The Promoter reserves the right, with or without cause, to exclude entrants and withhold prizes for violating any of these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to publish entries (including parts of entries) other than the winning entry and publication does not necessarily mean the entrant has won a prize.

Entrants will retain copyright in their submitted entries, however, by entering, all entrants licence the Promoter a worldwide royalty-free perpetual licence to edit, publish and use each entry in any and all media (including print and online) for publicity and news purposes. The Promoter reserves the right to publish entries (including parts of entries) although publication does not necessarily mean the entrant has won a prize.

There is no cash or other alternative to the prize stated and the prize is not transferable and no part or parts of the prize may be substituted for other benefits, items or additions.

Winners may be required to submit valid identification before receiving their prize.

The Promoter's decision is final and binding on the entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.

The Promoter will not be liable for technical, hardware, or software failures of any kind or lost or unavailable network connections that may limit or prohibit an eligible entrant's ability to participate in the competition. Other than death or personal injury arising from the acts or omissions of the Promoter or its employees, the Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of the winner’s (or their guest’s) enjoyment of the prize.

By entering, any subsequent prize winners agree to allow the free use of their names, photographs and general locations for publicity and news purposes during this and future promotions by the Promoter or any associated or subsidiary company of News Corp UK & Ireland Limited.

Uses of personal data received by the Promoter in the course of the promotion are subject to the privacy policy found on the Website. Winners' names may be published on the Website.

Completion and submission of a registration slip or e-mail will be deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

The Promoter reserves the right at any time to cancel, modify or supersede the competition (including altering prizes) if, in our sole discretion, a competition is not capable of being conducted as specified. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value in the event that circumstances beyond their control make this unavoidable.

Competition closes at the time and date stated on the competition launch post. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be counted. Only one entry per person. Bulk, automatically generated or third party entries are void.

To enter you must like and share the post before the closing date.

There will be one winner per prize draw. One prize per winner.

You are providing your information to the Promoter and not to Facebook.  The information that you provide will only be used for purposes of this competition or as may be otherwise specified on the entry form.

The winners will be selected at random from all valid entries for this competition received before the Closing Date.

Winners will be notified on Facebook or using the other contact details provided by the winner within seven days after the Closing Date. All reasonable endeavours will be made to contact the winner during the specified time. If a winner cannot be contacted or is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to re-draw another winner from the valid/correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.

The prize is a Handpicked Companies product of choice, but is subject to change dependant on availability or at the discretion of the promoter.   

The prize is non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives to the prize in whole or in part.

The promoter will not be liable or hold responsibility for non-delivery of prizes or any errors regarding delivery
