Extended Returns Policy

For peace of mind we have extend our returns window so that if you are buying Christmas presents don't worry.  Purchases made between 5 October 2015 and 24 December 2015 can be returned to us by Sunday 10 January 2016.

Faulty or Damaged Products

We work very hard to make sure that every item that leaves  Handpicked Collection’s warehouse is rigorously checked and sensibly packaged. Occasionally something goes wrong - and we’ll do our best to put it right. 
In the unlikely event that you receive a faulty item or if something is damaged in transit, then get in touch. Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your goods, either by phone on or by email (

Unsuitable or "Not-Sure-It's-Me" Items

If something you’ve ordered doesn’t suit for a different reason, then we can still offer you a refund. Click here to download a returns form. If you have any trouble downloading the form then call us on 01206 226 440.

Items should be returned within 30 days of receipt, and be unused and in the original packaging. The cost of posting unsuitable items is the customer’s responsibility – however, we will refund the initial postage cost if you are returning an entire order. If we receive your item outside the 30-day period, or if the product does not reach us in a saleable condition, we might need to decline your refund. Should this happen we will return the item(s) to you.

Unfortunately, we don’t offer exchanges, however we aim to process refunds within 3-5 working days.

Please be aware that the item(s) remain your responsibility until they reach our warehouse, so try and repack them as carefully as you can. Make sure you get a Proof of Postage Certificate in case your parcel gets lost in transit.

Unfortunately we cannot accept returns of food or drink, personalised products, earrings or lingerie. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Why recycle?

Unwanted electrical equipment is the UKs fastest growing type of waste.

Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination – harming wildlife and also human health.

We can help

We are pleased to offer our customers the chance to recycle their old electrical items.

To recycle your old electrical item with Handpicked, simply send it to us, within 30 days of your new  purchase to the address noted on your delivery note, Handpicked Collection c/o Carousel Logistics, Unit 13 Castle Road Eurolink Industrial Estate, Sittingbourne ME10 3UP . Your proof of purchase may be required. Unfortunately we are unable to cover the cost of the postage of your old item.

What is WEEE?

The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items. In the UK, distributors (including retailers) must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. Those establishing their own take-back scheme must as a minimum offer all customers buying new electrical equipment free take back of their old electrical items on a like-for-like basis.
