Returns policy

Faulty or Damaged Products

We really appreciate you shopping with us, and work very hard to make sure that every item that leaves The Handpicked Collection’s warehouse is rigorously checked and sensibly packaged. Occasionally something goes wrong - and we’ll do our best to put it right.
In the unlikely event that you receive a faulty item or if something is damaged in transit, then get in touch. Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your goods, either by phone (020 7741 0315) or by email (customerservices@handpickedcollection.com).



Unsuitable or "Not-Sure-It's-Me" Items

If something you’ve ordered doesn’t suit for a different reason, then we can still offer you a refund.* Simply log into your account at www.handpickedcollection.com within 14 days of receiving your goods to download a returns form. If you’re not sure how to access your account, or if you ordered by phone, then call us on 020 7741 0315. Please supply a valid email address because this will enable us to set up your online account or email a returns form to you.

Unfortunately, we don’t offer exchanges, however we aim to process refunds within 3-5 working days (apologies if things take a bit longer during busy seasons such as Christmas or Easter).

Once you have your returns form, all you need to do is print it and post the item(s) back to us (address details will be on the form). Items should be returned within 28 days of receipt, and be unused and in the original packaging. The cost of posting unsuitable items is the customer’s responsibility – however, we will refund the initial postage cost if you are returning an entire order. If we receive your item outside the 28-day period, or if the product does not reach us in a saleable condition, we might need to decline your refund. Should this happen we will return the item(s) to you.

Please be aware that the item(s) remain your responsibility until they reach our warehouse, so try and repack them as carefully as you can. Make sure you get a Proof of Postage Certificate in case your parcel gets lost in transit.

*Unfortunately we cannot accept returns of food or drink, personalised products, earrings or lingerie. This does not affect your statutory rights.



Christmas Returns

We hate our customers missing out on the best possible customer service, so offer a special Christmas Returns Policy. We appreciate that over the festive period items are often bought in advance and given as gifts, and it’s therefore not always possible to return them within the normal timeframe. So any items ordered during November or December can be returned until 10 January, and be treated to our usual refunds policy.

Electrical Items

To recycle your old electrical item with Handpicked, simply send it to us, within 28 days of purchase to the address noted on your delivery note, Hanpicked Collection c/o Carousel Logistics, Unit 13 Castle Road Eurolink Industrial Estate, Sitting bourne ME10 3UP . Your proof of purchase may be required. Unfortunately we are unable to cover the cost of the postage of your old item.
