1.Take a photograph of any Handpicked product that you received or gave as a Christmas present.

2.Go to www.facebook.com/HandpickedCollection and click the Photo/Video button:

3.Share your photo or video of a product from The Handpicked Collection on our wall.

4.Send an email to competitions@handpickedcollection.com with FACEBOOK in the subject and telling us your name and which product you posted about. We will reply to every email with legitimate posts with a 10% discount code, unique to you, which can be used across our whole site including sale items.

The winner will receive their artwork immortalised on a Handpicked Mini Picasso Keyring (worth £19.95) plus a £100 Handpicked voucher and we will feature the winning artwork on our website (credited to the artist of course!). All you need to do is email us your child’s entry to competitions@handpickedcollection.com or upload it to our Facebook page. If it’s easier, post the artwork on your blog and email us the link. We’ll then pick our favourite on  Friday 14th September and announce the winner the following week.

As ever, there are a few rules and guidelines:

- It’s completely free to enter

- Only one entry per child

- Open to ages 10 and under

- Make sure you use strong colours so that the image reproduces well

- We will publish the picture online, so please make sure you’re happy for us to share it!

We sent all the photos to Laetitia to judge. Her choices for first place and for two runners up are as follows…

First is Jan Beal – Gorgeous high-summer madness, featuring rudbeckia, helenium, verbena bonariensis and agapanthus. I totally love it.

Runners up:

Rose Tabberer – Cosmos are always photogenic, but particularly here. Beautiful photo and an impressive patch of these lovely flowers.

Wendy Taylor – PINK! I absolutely adore this. Different shades of the same colour having a party outside her front door. Well done!

Summer has finally arrived and how grateful are we? We’d like to mark the moment – even if it doesn’t last long – with a celebration of gorgeous British gardens through the stunning new book by our expert panellist Laetitia Maklouf. Sweet Peas for Summer is Laetitia’s own story of creating her first garden from scratch in a year and a bible for the gardening beginner. Irreverent, practical and funny, she sets out how to plan, plant and maintain a garden in ten easy steps. There are also over 100 plant recipes for spring, summer, autumn and winter, planting plans for every personality type and plenty of time left over for lounging on the lawn.

To enter, we would love to see your photos of your gardens, balcony, window box, indoor plants – whatever you’re growing – and Laetitia will pick a winner to receive a signed copy of Sweet Peas for Summer and one of Handpicked’s beautiful Gold Peas in a Pod necklace (worth £166). Two runners up will receive a signed copy the book each.

Send your photo to competitions@handpickedcollection.com with a caption before Monday 6^th August and we will be announcing the winners the following Monday the 13^th. You can also enter by uploading your image to our Facebook Page. In order to enter you must hold the rights to the image you submit.
