He’s a soppy soul, the modern dad. Pre-paternity leave dads might scoff, but it’s now a badge of blokey honour to weep copiously at a child’s birth and maybe even know a child’s shoe size. OK, I don’t actually know a father who even knows which shoes his children might need on any given day, but the message we’re getting from our customers is that dads are no longer in the dark ages when it comes to looking after their children.
