City of London Festival
Here it comes, another festival! City of London Festival, as the name perhaps suggests, takes place in the Square Mile; it has been running since the 21st June and draws to a close on the 9th of July. This weekend the Handpicked Events Inspection Team (newly coined job titles ahoy) will be off to inspect the bee theme that has been buzzing all over the City.
The brilliant thing about it is that everything is very easily within walking distance. On Friday there are dance workshops in the Guildhall Yard just around the corner from what is positively sure to be a spectacular show by Ockham’s Razor at Paternoster Square. They combine theatre and circus to create what should be a quite a sight. These images are some from their website.
As ever, the city shuts down over the weekend but all the action resumes the following week at venues such as Liverpool Street Station and the steps of St Paul’s. Click here to see the full programme. See you there.
