What better way to start a Monday than with cake from a kind blogging soul? Handpicked embarked on the Secret Post Club recently and I was so so excited to receive our first gift from Amy of http://amylane.wordpress.com/. She sent some gorgeous homemade lemon squares and chocolate shortbread as well as a little recipe book called Favourite Holiday Recipes, with some goodies like Salmon & Rocket Salad and Bonfire Fish. Amy, thank you so much, we’ve all had a lemon square or a piece of chocolate shortbread in the office with a cup of tea; they were delicious and we’re very grateful. The Secret Post Club is a wonderful idea from another Heather at Notes from Lapland. The idea is that each member gets a name and address of another member and sends them a gift that they deem appropriate. Then, obviously, you receive something from someone else too. Marvellous idea.
